鄧沛玲 Pauline Tang
Pauline Tang has performed as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in United States, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, Macau, China and Hong Kong. She received Master of Music degree in performance from James Madison University and previously studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with scholarships.
Tang is one of the founders of “Splendour Music” that features multimedia music and spreads life message and Gospel. She is the music director of the recent production”Sprout” Multimedia Music Concert co-organize with the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She participated in both music and drama parts as the performer and actor for this production.
She actively nurtures the next generation by giving talks at secondary schools and different youth organizations. She collaborates with Food Angel for music project to teach violin less privileged kids from low income families. She served as performer and adjudicator in instrumental competitions of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. She is the syllabus advisor of Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association Music Festival. She lectures at The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Tang has interviewed and appeared on a TVB “Cultural Square” and “Tuesday Report”, RTHK Radio 4 “Children’s Corner” and Metro Radio “Original Life”for actively promoting music and art in the society.
