Arrangements for Baroque Viola and Harpsichord
Co-Organized with University Museum and Art Gallery, the University of Hong Kong
During the late Baroque period, a new variation of the sonata emerged from the trio sonata form. In this variation, one of the treble parts and the basso continuo, without harmonisation, are played on a keyboard instrument, while the remaining treble part is performed by a melodic instrument as a solo.
Immerse yourself in the rich harmonies and intricate interplay of this innovative musical arrangement!
